The time allocated for each treatment is shown clearly when you book online. Please know that nothing at VB is ever rushed, so I’d recommend not booking anything important straight afterwards, just in case your session naturally overruns.

VB is a one-woman business, so I’m often mid-treatment with a client when you get in touch. I’ll always reply as soon as I can, thank you for your patience.
Treatments
Every session starts with a thorough consultation, even if you’re a regular. I’ll talk to you about your skin, your goals and how you’re feeling before recommending anything, so you always get exactly what you need.
If any preparation is ever needed for your treatment, you’ll receive this information before your appointment.
If a patch test is needed for your treatment, I’ll be in touch before your appointment to arrange this.
Nothing is rushed, including your skin’s response. Some clients see an immediate glow, others notice results building over the following days. If it’s helpful, I’ll also give you further personalised aftercare information, so you get the most benefit from your treatment.
This depends entirely on you, and it’s something we’ll agree together at your consultation. Some clients come monthly for maintenance, others book a short course closer together to work on a specific concern.
Many treatments can be adapted for sensitive skin, and I’ll always ask about any conditions, medication or pregnancy at consultation, so what we do together is safe and right for you.
The VB Method
It’s the way I work, a treatment philosophy that blends advanced clinical skin science with intuitive, unhurried care, built over twenty years of hands-on practice. Every treatment moves through three pillars, the Science, the Senses and the Soul, and five stages from preparation through to transformation.
There’s an intuitive, energetic layer to how I prepare and work, yes, expressed through grounding and setting a clear intention before we begin. You don’t need to take part in any of that, you can simply lie back, relax and receive the treatment.
Not at all. The clinical science behind every treatment is real and evidence based, and the intuitive element sits alongside it, not in place of it. Most clients simply notice how personalised and unhurried the whole experience feels.
The VB Academy & Training
Evening workshops and shorter sessions are open to anyone, clients and therapists alike. The structured VB Method training and certification programme is aimed at qualified beauty therapists.
No, evening and short workshops are designed to be approachable for everyone. The multi-session VB Method training is more suited to therapists already working in the industry.
Formal accreditation for The VB Academy is something I’m working towards as it grows. In the meantime, training for therapists is being developed with recognised CPD points, so your learning still counts towards your professional development.
Yes. Some workshops and training run in person from the studio in Godalming, and the Online Academy offers pre-recorded modules, workbooks and a private community so you can learn in your own time.
